Join Amber Field & Juli Rees for the Art of Solidarity, September 9-12 at the Haven on the beautiful Island of Gabriola, BC, Canada. In this workshop participants will experience the transformational power of expressive arts and body-based practices as we learn together new skills and competencies for collective liberation and solidarity.
This program is for leaders, social justice change agents, union members, activists, artists, creatives, and those who want to be in deeper relationship with themselves and others. Through movement, drawing, singing, writing, dialogue and reflection, participants will gain awareness of strengths and challenges as we create together.
The workshop is accessible to people of all abilities. No prior experience with the arts is necessary, as we will draw upon everyone’s innate creativity.
Registration is $495 by Aug.15, $550 afterwards plus accommodations and meals. Rates vary depending on the type of accommodation selected. Single rooms are limited so register early. For more information or to request a reduced rate scholarship, contact Juli at firstname.lastname@example.org
